This internal division within Netanyahu’s war cabinet and government, in addition to international pressure coming from France, the US and the UK, leaves him with no choice but to sustain a political status quo. Since this government has stuck with this far-right agenda that has escalated the whole region into this war, Netanyahu either has to sacrifice his political future with it if he sticks to his own side, or he has to regroup through another cabinet. Netanyahu has to go back to square one and come up with a different strategy because if not, his political future and his military strategy in Gaza are not going anywhere.
