The leader of the saints was meditating for ages but had failed to attain salvation. Guru Nanak held discussions with him and other mendicants and put them on the path of Truth. He made them to realize that there is only One God and by meditation on Him alone one can attain salvation. The Tenth Guru explained, “It is not beneficial to increase your age with the help of Siddhi. You need to be enlightened that your aim should be to merge in Him. Once you have concentrated on him ceaselessly, you have salvaged yourself from the worldly attachments and attached to Him permanently. This is how you get salvation while living (jeevan mukt). You cannot reach Him until you have this realization”. Naga Saint said," No one will remember me after my death".
