Dear Khalsa Ji,
Today I share with you my understanding of the Shalok that comes just before the 4th Ashtapadee of Sukhmani Sahib.
1. inrgunIAwr ieAwinAw so pRBu sdw smwil ] nirgunee-aar i-aani-aa so parabh sadaa samaal.
You, without any virtue and full of ignorance dwell upon ‘The Sat’.
2. ijin kIAw iqsu cIiq rKu nwnk inbhI nwil ]1] jin kee-aa tis cheet rakh naanak nibhee naal. ||1||
Keep in your remembrance the ‘One’ who created you, O’Nanak that is the way to get along.
My Understanding:
Guru Sahib in these two sentences tells that each one of the Sikh should bear in mind ‘The Sat’ who has created us. In the Ashtapadee that follows Guru Sahib elaborate on this essential aspect of spiritual living.
With this I close this post
