If Ik Ong Kaar were conscious then, he/she/it is conscious in all, which include the organic and the inorganic as the Gurbani says. And if the poetry is literal, then we should all embrace the literal translations which are shown to be distorted because there is more to it than meets the eyes.The example of the distorted literal translation is in your own post.
