Waheguru ji ka khalsa Waheguru ji ki fateh!
Sangat ji,
As you have probably heard, a devastating earthquake has hit the country of Haiti, causing the deaths of tens of thousands of people. The sangat of Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara prays for the souls of those deceased and for strength, aid, and healing for the survivors and their families. There is an ardaas for the Haiti earthquake victims tonight at the Gurdwara Sahib at 9:30pm.
To help the Haitian people the Gurdwara Sahib will immediately begin collecting funds for earthquake relief efforts, and will continue doing so until January 31st. Please visit the Gurdwara Sahib or email contact@gurunanakgurdwara.ca if you would like to contribute. Any donation, however small, will go a long way to help in this moment of crisis. (When making your donation at the Gurdwara Sahib, simply tell the sewadar it is for the Earthquake Relief Effort).
Let us pray for those who have lost their lives, and to give assistance to those that are in need.
