Im now safely back on Canada but situation in Kashmir is still not good. I worry every day for my husband and the family. I know there is no immediate danger to then but the systemic effects of the market being closed for a month means crores lost in the valley and what backlash will come from that? My nieces have been out of school the whole time as well, now several weeks late. Driving around the city can sometimes be tricky as there are groups of stone pelters. And a few nights we were forced to turn off all lights by Muslims wanting to cause problems by forcing a blackout. Nothing gives you chills like sitting in the dark for dinner and hearing outside a group of Muslims banging on gates and yelling slogans ending with allahu akhbar. Like groups of 20 or more. Luckily we have a very good deterrent for safety - his name is Bruzo and he's a Rottweiler and nobody who Bruzo doesn't know, will have the courage to come inside the gate! (I love Bruzo though

he's actually a sweet dog if you are family - took me a little bit to win his trust and now I taught him to give his paw for treats).
But anyway pls do ardaas for Kashmir!!!!
