My family tree chart shows that Bhai Nand Lal ji's Father is a Mal
Here in our family tree states Diwan Chajju Mal as being the name of Sri Bhai Nand Lal ji...
Information regarding this is very limited!
Would that mean technically I and from the blood of Sri Mal ji. SAHI?

A little bit of History... & reson for confusion:
My dads last Name is Khanna. He doesn't know why? Although he told me we are not Khanna and we will have to face the truth eventually.!
I found a darn good reason why this happened. Proof and information below
Bhai Nand Lal ji has 2 sons. One Lakhpat Rai and one Lila Ram!.

One died in 1748!
THE OTHER- MANAGED SUKERCHAKIA Misl affairs from 1790 onwards!

There are 2 Diwan Lakhpat Rai's in history!
One was tortured & died at the hands of Sikh in 1748- Jaspat Rai's Brother, Who created a genocide against Sikhs

. While Maharaja Ranjit Singh was only 9 years old

Maha Singh contracted dysentery and died in April 1790. Ranjit Singh was 9-years-old at the time of his father's death in 1790. Raj Kaur became Ranjit's regent during his minority and managed the affairs of the Sukerchakia Misl.[2] She was assisted by Dewan Lakhpat Rai (the Dewan of her late husband) who is reputed to have acted with ability and enthusiasm.[8
