As per Hon'ble Bombay HC order Divorced woman can't use ex's name. The order of Hon'ble court looks logical as when relationship is no more and it has been put to end then there should not be the use of the ex's name in other words we can say it the misuse of name. As if the woman continue to use the name of ex's then naturally the non-existence relation ship can not be referred.
I think it is a fair decision. But the main point of using the names of ex's, I think that the funds might be deposited in the banks or financial institutions in joint names or the names added to the woman's name. So it may be difficult to make transactions in those account. The other aspect may be the woman don't like to forget his previous pains and pleasures and by using his name she does not like that the events that are linked with him should be brushed aside.
The members will throw light the reason of using the Ex's name with her name.
