Unless you use a Macintosh! It does not seem to work for us. The story of the "gobbledegook" is an interesting one. You can learn it, it is a standard phonetic system used before the days of downloadable fonts and unicode. Yes... once upon a time there was nothing like Unicode, nothing like downloadable fonts in the digital universe. The savants looked upon the void and darkness and there was only ASCI. So they invented an alphabetic system using Roman letters. This system was based on standardizing letters to sounds. In that way any language that did not use roman letters could be translated into this system and read by scholars who knew the code. Languages included Turkish, Gaelic, even the writings from ancient Egyptian manuscripts, Greek, all could be transferred digitally this way.

This is a true story.
