i have tried the hookha smoking thinga-ma-jig and its a giant waste of money and health if you ask me. its like a big wet version of a cigarette that smells like apple, bannana or whatever fragerance you choose. banning it is not a solution. nor is arresting/humiliating minors going to deter others from experimentation. Although if shops are going to sell it, they should be paying the taxes (which is what these raids are actually about). in india it's probably considered a minor drug. In a state where you can buy codeine sparkled pain killers, Amphetamines (Ritalin) and anti-anxiety meds (tranquilizers) over the counter... not to mention other hard street drugs like heroin, smack, cocaine, etc.... hookah should be the least of law enforcements worries in Punjab.
