Congressman Joseph Crowley has commended the contribution of Specialist Uday Singh, the first Sikh American to die in the allied war in Iraq. Voicing his support for the Defense Authorization Bill (HR 1815) which provides authorization for funding to protect US service men and women, Crowley moved an amendment to honour the diversity of the serving men and women.
