I was having a heated argument with my dad today. I said Alcohol is bad and punjab should stopping selling it. He taught that I am taunting him as I am not a drinker. He said why are you only picking on Alcohol? There are a lot of other issues to talk about in punjab specially corruption. I said that I am against it as well but this doesn't mean I should ignore alcohol issue. The he said why you eat meat? That involves killing a life. I said even plants have life, will you stop eating them?

I mean this is a much bigger issue, Punjab is not the only state that sells alcohol, I think its down to the overall development of Punjab. Punjabi's are associated with alcohol and are proud of it thats the biggest problem. Education in schools regarding the bad effect of Alcohol may be a first step in right direction specially in village schools?
