Opps sorry I did not realize the text had gotten messed up when I posted. Basically, if you can't read the above, I was saying these are my own images from only about 2 weeks ago now. I was there just after Diwali.
We stayed on site at the Mata Ganga Ji Niwas accomodation (just to the right of the Baba Atal Rai Tower entrance) at the end of the road. It was an amazing experience being there in person! That first night (when I took the pics) was around 4 am when they were doing the ceremony to bring out the Guru Granth Sahib Ji. I sat there for awhile... and also just sat by the pool and meditated / prayed. I felt so at peace I can't even explain!
I did not get to do Amrit there though... I will have to wait till next year (yes I am going back!) The timing was such that I was not in Delhi on a Sunday to do it at Bangla Sahib and though I was in Amritsar on a Sunday we had his elder Mother with us (83 yrs old) who required special care and I could not devout a whole day to the process there. Not to mention Amritsar is nuts with the amount of people!!!!!
We DID get to go twice into the sanctum sanctorium bypassing the ENTIRE line up though! We had her in a wheelchair and could not bring the wheelchair so a sevadar carried her piggyback and we went straight in through the out line, bypassing about a 1.5 hr wait in the line up! We just went straight in... twice!!! This may have been the last time she will see it in person, so I felt good about that. She broke down in tears inside, and giving her that experience was worth having to wait until next time to do Amrit.
I brought back a Nitnem Gutka with English and Romanized, and also some prashad from there (the one in the packages) which is supposed to last a long time so I can have prashad every day for the next while from Golden Temple, even back at home!
Those pics are only 4 of about several hundred that I took! I must have at least 60-70 night shots and they ALL turned out amazing! I just wanted to share a few... please feel free to use them if you want.

(These are my own photography... I didn't even bring the SLR! I used a bridge camera that functions pretty near to an SLR though. These were hand held... no tripod!!)
