General Langar - Need Info Please

Hi,

I am looking for some specific info on Langar, particularly:

Are there certain langars or specific times of the year when a langar becomes a larger function (serving hundreds of thousands of people)? Are these larger langars different than usual langars, aside from the number of people?

Also are langars ever put on as a part of a wedding celebration?
