Dear JasleenIt's certainly a valid pointI think it's also valid to say that a family tie is a family tie even when not to the eldest son.I would never for one second dream of making any sort of comparison between the Sikh Gurus and others but purely as a factual observation, there are other paths where successorship has been within the family (e.g nephew) and that has been a source of some criticism for those pathsThis is why I just wanted to consider the family tie and as SPNAdmin Ji very kindly and succinctly restated, whether this was source of any influenceThanksR
