I think you get :star::star: for giving the right answer twice. No need for a scholarly answer because a scholarly answer takes the reader away form a pure devotional stance in dhyanna.

Scholarly has its place in the essays and books that explore the theology of Sikhism.

It would be like analyzing the effect of the Grand Canyon on the mind. What can you say? What is there to say at that moment? Afterward we share the experience with others if we can. It is a good thing to be struck dumb by the experience of the beauty and truth of Gurbani.

I think the answer can be given by Gurmukhi knowing sangat as there is nothing that suggests that Gurmukhi Tuk contains 'World'.Literally ,it would mean two ends.i.e God is the 'swami/malik/master' of both the ends'.

Only the sangat knowing Gurmukhi should answer. Kindlly do not make guess. If you do not know the answer let it go. Sometime someday when you have the answer you may post the answer. The thread is not going anywhere.

Hi.Sherab ji,

Your answer given in earlier post seems to be perfectly ok. After checking up with Teeka of Sahib singh ji it means the two sides of life i.e. Maya and its opposite i.e. Naam -Ras. Hence HE alone puts us in a particular mode ,as HE is the architect of destiny.

I am just sharing as it was not properly attended to.

Thanks again.
