Such shameful incidents are not the problem of Akali Dal alone. Unfortunately Akalis are linked to Sikhs. This is especially so in those states of India (especially South India) where the general population is quite confused about the periodic and sudden eruptions in Punjab on some pretext or the other. And they naturally turn to their Sikhs aquiantices for better understanding. The Sikhs themselves do not know what to say and just end up dissassociting themselves from the Akalis.

Unfortunately the Akalis also control SGPC and now so many controversies are are popping up in Punjab. Let alone others, the Sikh youth is also totally confused and is being easily weaned away from Sikhi.

It is time that Jat Sikhs who claim they are the true inheritors of Sikh religion and look down upon all others be they be Bhappas, Khatris, Aroras, Ramgarhias and as would call "lower castes" to introspect seriously and see where they arev taking the Sikhs under their leadership. It is extremely difficult to have a discussion with them without facing personal attacks or being foulmouthed and being called castesist names.
