A day of celebration, exploration and discussion will be held Saturday, Jan. 22 at the University of the Fraser Valley in Abbotsford.
The Sikh Research Institute will host two lectures focusing on Sikh history and inspiration.
The first lecture, "Rekindling the Spirit," will highlight the evolution of the history of Sikhs.
The second lecture, "Reviving the Gurduara," will explore the institution of Gurduara as an original place of learning. The free lectures will be held at UFV, Abbotsford campus, in room B101 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. To register phone 778-214-4906 or e-mail kirpa.kaur@sikhri.org.
