Hi everyone.
Just wondering, besides being on spn, what did you do this summer that was related to Sikhi? Did you for example meet someone special? Did you go to a special place? or did you, something as simple as, just realise something special about Sikhi? Anything related to Sikhi that happend this summer?
I, among other things, visited Sri Hazur Sahib. It was absolutely amazing. Almost like a fantasy. The gurudwaras, the sevadars, langar sahib and the bazaar, I loved it all. The atmosphere was calm, yet lively. The only thing I could not understand was why women were not allowed to distribute langar :hmm: And yeah, I didnt like the unnecessary rituals like aarti and the bell ringing, which our Guru Nanak himself tried to get rid of. Besides that, I enjoyed the whole experience greatly.
(Just had to include this new smiley. It's so cool!)
