Well said!My take on the five who gave their heads... why should their gender even be in question? I thought khalsa was created to remove all such differences as caste, ethnicity, and even gender, by having them all share of the same amrit? It was five Sikhs... five Souls who gave their heads! Nobody questions if a Jatt acts as Panj Pyare for example (even though there were no Jatt in the original five)... because they would argue that caste distinction has been removed. Why then is gender treated differently when it comes to Panj Pyare seva? Also, kirtan etc at Harmandir Sahib etc.????
