Is the above sentence correct: I thought langaars was for everyone (not just poor and needy).

Langar could be in form of rice, or anyother thing natives are used to eat there. I guess, it was not, hence the fuss!

I agree. Sikhism is universal so they should not limit the food in langar to just Indian food. Pizza and chips would be nice for once...
