What Does Waheguru In This Vaar Means?

I was going through this VAAR by Bhai Gurdas.The VAAR is 12 Pauri 17
Title is Waheguru Mantar.

I am trying to understand the highlighted verse.Is Bhai ji speaking abt the word Waheguru
As per Grammar
ਸਬਦੁ: it is singular

ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰ ਆਕਾਰੁ ਕਰਿ ਜੋਤਿ ਸਰੂਪ ਅਨੂਪ ਦਿਖਾਇਆ।
Nirankaaru Aakaaru Kari Joti Saroopu Anoop Dikhaaiaa |
The formless Lord has been beholden in the form of the light (in Guru Nanak and other Gurus).

The Gurus recited Word-Guru as Vahiguru who is beyond the Vedas and Katebas (the semtic scriptures).

Therefore all the four varnas and all four semitic religions have sought the shelter of the lotus feet of the Guru.

When the Gurus in the form of Philosopher’s stone touched them, that alloy of eight metal changed into one metal (gold in the form of Sikhism).

The Gurus giving them place at their feet removed their incurable malady of ego.

Hukami Rajaaee Chalanaa Guramukhi Gaadee Raahu Chalaaiaa |
For Gurmukhs they cleared the highway of God’s will.

ਪੂਰੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਥਾਟੁ ਬਣਾਇਆ ॥੧੭॥

The perfect (Guru) made the perfect arrangements.

no guru has used the word wahiguru in sggs. but it is used by bhatt gayand on page 1402 and 1403. that he was saying wah guru wah guru and then he combined it and made the word wahiguru. because GOd is realized in eastern philosophy through the guru. so he made the word wahiguru for God.
next bhai gurdas jee. he wrote the sggs . he had seen and written in the sggs. so he made his own wahiguru in a very complicated way in his war no 1 and then he used extensively in other wars. sorry if it does not fit in your system and thanks.

now this is completely out of sequence.
at the same time in sggs God and guru are the same. praising guru is praising God.

Yes totally in agreement with you .Infact their are many more verse of Bhai Gurdas which might be corrupted .
Their is a famous quote of Bahi Gurdas

Waheguru Gurmantar Hai, Jap Haumai Khoyi.

Which means Oh wondrous Guru!! You are my mantar,Knowing you i have lost my ego .

So my query was keeping the above translation in mind while trying to understand below line of the shabad

Does Vaheguru translate as 'god'.. Surely it translates as 'resplendent teacher' better.. I think the above exegesis is problematic..

Also what are the four semitic religions, I can count three is the fourth counting Shia and sunni separately?

It's just another name we call God. It's not complicated and doesn't really need a lot of thought. Language is limited, as long as you know who and what you're talking about

I'm sorry I'm not being belligerent but it is complicated and it cannot be reduced to the term 'god'
I find that wholly inadequate

ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਲਾਹਣਾ ਗੁਰੁ ਸਬਦ ਅਲਾਏ ॥੧੩॥ (Varaan 9-13)

Gur ḏāṯā ḏa▫i▫āl bakẖsinḏ.
The Guru is the Great Giver, merciful and forgiving.

ਗੁਰ ਚਰਨੀ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਮਨੁ ਲਾਗਾ ॥
Gur cẖarnī jā kā man lāgā.
One whose mind is attached to the Guru's feet,

ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਤਿਸੁ ਪੂਰਨ ਭਾਗਾ ॥੪॥੩੬॥੪੭॥
Nānak ḏās ṯis pūran bẖāgā. ||4||36||47||
O slave Nanak, is blessed with perfect destiny. ||4||36||47||


So we can indirectly link Waheguru and God as
Waheguru = GUR SHABAD = Nanak Jyot = Parmeshwar
