To me it seams that in our modern society science tries to explain everything. But what are they missing? What can't they explain and what will they never be able to explain in your eyes?

At the risk of making a sweeping generalisation which may be ruthlessly dissected by others, I would say Science explains how things work as opposed to why they are there in the first place!
