Why does every controversy revolve around Guru Gobind Singh?

I mean whether its authorship of Granth, to his previous life, to nihangs doing artee with incense and *Diwa*s and saying it traces back to guru gobind singh etc. Etc.
Why do most of the questionable practices and granths are attributed to Guru Gobind Singh? Why was he targeted?

Who knows. He was a warrior, had strength of character and was unstoppable. He tore through India At a time where people were afraid and staying in their houses like mice and being afraid. He was controversial but he didn’t give a toss, so we shouldn’t either
