One can still be an atheist while being subject to "God's command"—It just means the atheist was wrong in his belief, nonetheless, he is an atheist, however wrong.I don't really have a "side to my argument" because I don't think there is much of an argument to be made—i think it is common sense (and common courtesy) to assume people are capable of making up their own minds. Even if that results in a disbelief in god, it is all within the realm of human free will.
