good that you raised the subject of Ragmala.
Alam wrote the book madhavnal kam kandla. in it when madhavnam comes to meet kam kandla he sings ragmala in chaupai. but it mentions many ragas which are not in alam;'s book. there is no raag in alams book. that means it is not his own version because he does not know about raagas. once again there is no raag in alam's boooook . so where did he get the raagas. he stole it from somewhere. there are two types of religions in the world.first ones are the those who interpret faith from the brain. the western religions fall in that catagory. the second ones are those who interprete faith from the mind. hindu, sikh and sufis are these religions. to interpret a religion from the brain is very easy. it is just the contradictory questions and answers from the brain. it has nothing to do with godliness. you fall in the same catagory sir. sikh religion is based on straightening your mind through gurus teachings. according to Karir. there is two type of God one who created the creationa dn bestows slvation. salvation is not in your dictionary. the second God is the guru who who knows the the path to become divine. the entire sggs deals with this. According to my thinking Alam stole the ragmala from sggs when the sikhs were on hard times. Alam came after the sggs was written. you mention that there is difference in some or many words used. it is due to the language difference. Ragmal is a poetry. the poetry in sggs comes from the mind. it comes once and if you do not write it gets lost. there are some raags whcih are in the sggs but not in ragmala. but there is no raag in alam's book mdhavnal kam kandla. while witing a poetry the words which come to the mind at that time are written. in that case some raags are missed from ragmala buy guru arjan dev jee. the people who think from the brain , they are saying" how come there are not all the raags in ragmala which are written in sggs. yet Alam has no raags in his book. people like you sir who use brain to contradict ragmala reject the composition because it does not mention all the raags in sggs. and yet they accept the concept of alam who has no raag in it. they pretend that alam wrote it before sggs was written. i say that alam stole it and wrote it after sggs was written. Every writing in sggs is gurbani then why not ragmala. the reason is that sikhs interpret it from the brain like western religions. they translate that God has six raags (wives) and each raag has eigh sons total 48. who are those wives and who are those sons. do you know sir ?. ਖਸਟ ਰਾਗ ਉਨ ਗਾਏ ਸੰਗ ਰਾਗਨੀ ਤੀਸ. ਸਭੈ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਗਾਗਨ ਕੇ ਆਠਾਰਹ ਦਸ ਬੀਸ. it actually means that six major tunes along with sub tunes total 30 have been sung. all are the sons of God the creator or raagan whether eighteen ten or twenty. that maakes it 48. it is done to complement the stanza ਸੰਗ ਰਾਗਨੀ ਤੀਸ, ਆਠਾਰਹ ਦਸ ਬੀਸ. All those who claim that some one put it in the sggs taking it from alams book madhavnal kaam kandla are totally wrong. they are interpretting from the brain. here it is from the mind.
God is the musician and the world isw his music. that is how it is interpreted here.
