Guru Nanak College to become Sikh rest house

LAHORE: The Guru Nanak Degree College is to be converted into a rest house for Sikh pilgrims as part of development plans for the area by the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) and the Punjab government, sources reported on Saturday.
The ETPB, working in collaboration with the Punjab government, has planned for a hotel, a food street and a hospital in the area, in addition to a small housing project, a small industrial estate, a university named after the Nankana and a carpeted road linked with the Lahore-Faisalabad Road.
