I was curious to know if it's wrong to pray without your head covered... I work late into the night and sometimes when it is quiet at work I pray and I do not cover my head.... Can someone please answer this? Thanks

This is just my personal opinion. In this situation is it more important to pray than it is to cover your head. What a loss it would be to deny prayer for the sake of a bit of cloth. So contrarily, it is wrong to not pray due to the lack of a headcovering.

The better question is, "Why should we cover our heads to pray at all?"

We cover our head to show respect but as per guru sahiban true devotion comes from the heart, and the internal focus on God's name (Naam) is key, regardless of whether every external tradition is perfectly observed. Therefore, if you cannot cover your head during Paath due to work, continue your recitation with sincerity and focus on the Divine.

it is just pretending that i cover the head while preying. I have been reading sggs and praying for over 50 years without head cover. it is your mind which counts not the head cover. you may be buiyng horses in kabul while praying and covering your head. it is useless. cover or enshrine or respect for your guru and God in the mind while praying not just showing off
