Yeh we are separate souls but really we are One in that we are made from the same stuff He is. We're One in Truth, in the Nothingness, the Silence.

We serve and honour Truth by teaching it to others with the same Love, whether they are criminals or good souls, they're all God and here to discover the self.

Except for me it's not pointless. For me we wouldn't have the concept of kirat karo if it was pointless.. If accepting nothingness was righteous then surely living your life in a cave meditating would be perfectly acceptable.. To live or die be good or bad would not matter yet it does matter.. Onkaar is everything so nothing matters but the nothingness is premised on accepting everything.. Sikhi teaches us, expects of us to engage in the world

Truth is a psychology, to apply to our lives. Gurbani teaches us to live Truth in Action, meaning live your life, enjoy your life, learn lessons that are taught, perform selfless service whilst remaining in chardi kala and being a good soul etc.

I never said don't live, experience and enjoy your life and help others.

The point of relaying the fact that He created the khel out of love for us is that there was nothing in it for him. It was and continues to be the greatest selfless service that has ever and that will ever be rendered upon any soul.

Teaching others out of the illusion, to live their lives happily in chardi kala free of the thieves is divine service and one that the Gurus devoted their lives to. We are here to follow their examples and to live and enjoy our lives detached from rubbish whilst living our higher purpose(selfless seva/ teaching others to detach from the rubbish also). To stand up for justice, and fight for what's right when needed.

I'm sorry but with all due respect I disagree with your characterisation.. The truth is self existent and self evident and therefore does not need to be learned or taught it is.. We can be given tools to help help discipline our rationalisations, methods, strategies and insights to help us discern the veracity of 'truth' or truth but I believe we are lying to ourselves and hence untruthful if we disregard our personal 'agency' and say it can be taught us.. Again if ongkaar had agency or was deterministic it would not be nirbhau nirvair..?

What does that tell you ? Simply put, the truth at the heart of Sikh Philosophy is "anhad shabad" and Nanak says, 'it is occasionable not explainable'. It is wordless, formless and timeless. It's an experience, akin to, say, orgasm - you can have it but can't really word it.

The Sikh view is that everything has an "ultimate end" and that end is "experiencing" God [anhad shabad]. Nanak says, it's "do" meditation and "not" talk meditation. That is to say, there is a difference between talking God and experiencing God just as in talking sex and having sex.

Yeh you're right, the psychology practiced is remembrance of what has always and will always be the Truth.

That's why it's called the Truth. We unlearn all the worldly logic and the Maya and accept our true selves.

True, its to be Lived, experienced in feeling, not just talked about.

Language is truly limited and Truth is beyond logic, it's a matter of the Heart, True love's beyond the confines of logic and words.

When the mind is silenced, the Bhagat just feels within their being.
