Dear Bablir Singh ji Satsriakaal!

I dont know answer to your question as there seems to be too many references of Raam in Guru gRanth sahib and also I think I havent read all of Guru Granth Sahib so basically dont know?

What I know is common understand of Viakhiakaar and Preachers is that its used in Two Context most as Attribute of God but also as refering to personality called RAAM that is also part of Epic RAmayana in Hindu Mythyology

But this seesm to creating Duality in my mind and Ithink Guru should Dispel Duality and not create one So I m not sure on this One

any way I also have query for you . I ope you will will help me !

Help me understand First line to thi s Shabad from GuruDev

Dear all and Jatinder Jee!

Quote "What I know is common understand of Viakhiakaar and Preachers is that its used in Two Context most as Attribute of God but also as refering to personality called RAAM that is also part of Epic RAmayana in Hindu Mythyology."
Sikhs may be in occasion. They want to listen, the true Gurus. Preachers build a wall obstructing them with their explanations.
I do not know if the Gurus have ever used the words like 'Ramayana' and 'Hindu Mythology'. Knowing it from where the preachers have learnt those words would be interesting.

**************

Thanks for the wonderful Sabad from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee on page 731-7.
Quote "Help me understand First line to thi s Shabad from GuruDev."

This is my understanding of the the first line.

"mani raam naam aaraadhhiaa gur sabadi guroo gur ke."
In mind Raam Naam is worshiped with the technique of Sabad Guroo His Way.

BalBir Singh Ji SatsriAkal!

About the common preception of preacher why they use RAAM as from RAMAYANA is that many times they dont have the right answer and they are under pressure to explain everthing and anything due to their so called enlightened status so under pressure they just tell what ever they is appropiate in the context

this my understanding why they do so!

Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakaal!
Dear all!

My curiosity to raise this query was awakened after reading articles of some writers. They are trying to convince others that the true Gurus did not sing about One Raam. The reverend Gurus when praise Raam He is the Supreme Lord. Sometimes they feel that the Gurus were not praising Raam then He was a human being and subjected to criticize. I am not sure if Gurdev ever criticized Raam.
I may have not understood these writers.

well ill give u a link, read it then either believe it or make sure it an appropriate link by going to the books it mentions and making sure the quotes are true

after reading the link you will see a difference between RAAM and Raam. Wut i mean is the difference between WAHEGURU (Name of God) and Waheguru Singh/Kaur (name of a person).

Here is the link: Hinduism Unveiled: Forbidden Verses in Hindu Scriptures

That is great. People know the difference and holding it fast. May I ask if this difference can vanish also?

Bhagat Singh ji

you seem to be reading some wonderful literature :)

yes i am reading a storyboard of a hindu porn movie. I didnt think it existed but it does. The stars of the movie are vishnu (the seducer), shiva(the raper) and brahma(the masturbater). Brahma creates, vishnu sustains and shiva destroys. This storyboard was wirtten a long time ago. Read about the support characters they are even more interesting.
and No my rom rom does not have Raam the murderer of low castes.

Pray Truth for all and say Satsriakaal!
Dear all and Bhagat Singh Jee!

The link provided is the understanding of the author in English. I doubt it if the author really knows truth behind the scriptures in the original language.
The problem is with the perverse understanding of the translators. The wisdom of Truth expressed through the enlightened persons in scriptures is above them. The true Gurus, enlightened persons or the ancient Rishees may express it.
