Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa! Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!
Forgive me in advance if i say anything wrong - it is my first post, lol.
The OP has made the serious flaw of believing that Guru Nanak Ji and Guru Gobind Singh Ji were different beings. Guru Sahib themselves asked us to keep the Kakkars upon formal initiation into the Panth. By definition, to be a Sikh is to follow Guru Ji's hukam.
We shouldn't put words into Guru Ji's mouth and assume what they would say in certain situations - after all, Guru Sahib is still here and we can ask directly.
If possible, please state the original source of this article.
Kind Regards.
