Respect not Lust for opposites
Compassion for ignorance not anger
Sharing not greed for survival.
Disciples and Discipline and not false belonging of self possessions and there will be unity and establish Bey Gam Pura
Sikhi I.e learning always and not arrogance

To activate positive and make dead the negative.

What we have to correct is negative emotion.

why? negative emotion is good, it acts as a marker, a warning, a red light, why would you wish to correct it, it serves as a canary would in a coal mine

To replace lust with respect, one only has to be bored with lust, bored to the point that lust itself is boring, this can only be done by living

Compassion for ignorance not anger

Ignorance should always be ignored, anger is a knee jerk reaction, compassion merely fuels ignorance

Sharing not greed for survival.

In in ideal word this would be true, but then in an ideal world, one would not need to survive, one would be able to live, we do not live in an idea world, we live in a world filled with selfish {censored}s, as such, sharing only hastens our own demise, however, sharing with those that share back is beautiful, but rare.

There are no possessions, but then you already know that, all around is merely maya, and an illusion does not belong to anyone, discipline always leaves one wanting, understanding is superior

Mokh as per my understanding is liberation from the cycle of birth and death.It is getting freed from the world of illusion & duality that we live in.



Liberation door is clearly a metaphor. In Sikhi various inner qualities of Gurmukh and Naam Jap is the key.If you don't agree with this statement then plz share your perspective on this and also do share what according to you is the meaning of mokh in Gurubani?

Mokh is letting go of the nut.

Let's take a few steps back. what is the cycle of birth and death?

"What we call life...is the combination of the Five Aggregates, a combination of physical and mental energies. These are constantly changing; they do not remain the same for two consecutive moments. Every moment they are born and they die. 'When the Aggregates arise, decay and die, O bhikkhu, every moment you are born, decay, and die.' So where does the nut come in?

In order to catch spider monkeys, hunters in South America simply walk through the jungle and drop heavy containers on the ground. These containers have very a narrow top and a wider bottom. Inside the containers the hunters drop a special kind of nut which is particularly attractive to the monkeys. Sometime later, the spider monkeys come down from the tops of the trees, smell the nut, but the tops of the containers are so narrow they have a tight squeeze to get their hands inside. Once they grab the nut at the bottom, their fist is too large to remove if through the opening. And the container is too heavy for them to carry.
So instead of letting go of the nut, the monkeys just sit there until the hunters come back, pick them up, and throw them in a bag.

in Indian Philosophy that nut is called karma. We want the money that we earned yesterday but along with that comes the guilt of having cheated your boss by forging your time cards.

in Buddhist terms Mokh is the freedom of attachment to attachment

Sikhi teaches use that we should freely let go of the past, but not sink into Nihilism, To still work for a better future
