So a Catholic nuns habit is precious and a Sikh turban is not. Sweet. Well, we just should all just be celebrating this merry little fact.

I think what he is saying is that there is a fine line between being precious and being insulted.

I think what he is saying is that there is a fine line between being affectedly or excessively delicate,

At what point, according to you, does it cease to become "excessively delicate"?

Being assaulted while walking down the street?

Being discriminated against when applying for a job?

Being shot at?

Having your "temple" attacked and your religious scriptures being torn up? (just happened last night in Spokane, Washington)

I guess we shouldn't be so delicate and easily offended, so we should just keep a stiff upper lip and quiet down so as not to appear indignant and insulted. After all, it's just paper. If we had any real sense we wouldn't make a big fuss about it.

Oh, but better not touch that Catholic nun's habit. That's what's really precious.
