In 1984 when Sikhs were mourning the attack on harmandir sahib Darshan singh was acting in bollywood films. He was singing Dasam bani.

Prof Darshan Singh Ragi acts in film Nimmo in 1984

Just a few months after Operation Bluestar when the whole Panth was mourning the horrific attacks on the heart of Sikhi, Ragi Darshan Singh was busy doing what he does best - Acting. Here, in a bollywood movie Nimmo, he is narrating the story of the battle of Durga with Demon Rakat Beej. He is also reciting Benti Chaupai

We tried to bring awareness among our sangat that trampling of holy land of sikhs under jackboots
of Army is unjust, uncalled for and was avoidable. This was done to give a ****** nose to sikhs.

What were you doing, aman ji.

Inder Singh ji,

Guru Fateh.

It is sad to notice that each of your post is full of venom, krodh and anger towards others. You have not written any thing positive about anyone.

You have not been able to discuss any Gurbani Shabads from SGGS either despite my several requests to you to enlighten us with your Gurmat wisdom?

You have no courage nor any cajones ( A person who calls himself a Sikh of Guru Gobind Singh never loses them) to respond to my questions despite my various reminders.

Is this all the result of the Gurmanter you took during Khandei de Pahul?

Is this what you call Gurmanter has brought to you at this stage of your Miri- Piri life?

Please share with us and enrichen us with your Gurmat experience.

You and i have been discussing on other sites as well especially learning-zone. I am not inclined to discuss anything with you especially when you resort to bullying language. Other people objected to your style of writing there.

Soory to diasppoint you.

Inder Singh ji,

Guru Fateh.

Thanks for proving my point.

Thanks for the nice cop out which is very much unSikhi.

Hence, Thanks for showing your true colors that you are a Hindu who is jealous and envious of Sikhism. That is why you hate Sikhi so much.

What a shame! But if you talk anything against Sikhi and try to insert your Hindutva, be assured that you will be called upon as we do to any Hindu or Muslim who acts like you do.

At this point in the thread the average reader might not understand why you are mentioning Hindutva in connection to Inder ji's point of view and his messages.

There is a connection which has been explained to me. I myself did not initially understand it. It could be confusing to the "uninitiated" reader. How is it that someone who is so antipathetic to any criticism of Dasam Granth, like Inder Singh ji, and also one who appears to have so literal an understanding of Aad Granth Maharaj, and apparently someone so dyed through and through with the color of Sikhism, would be supportive of a Hindutva agenda. It is actually very subtle -- kind of like a good cop/bad cop strategy.

Please explain how that works. Thank you, aad0002

Here is what I see. Negative statements directed at you are almost 100 percent of the time reactions to strings of comments that are nothing more than strident persecution and unfounded accusations of apostasy against other people who differ from you. I cannot think of a single example in 2 years where you did not throw the first punch and do in a way that was demeaning, rude and that challenged the sincerity and faith of another forum member.

So when I notice then I make a judgment call. How many more threads are you going to dominate with your animosity?

I do not discourage discussion on dasam granth sahib. I have raed Dasam granth sahib and also we have done research on its history. As indicated quite afew times we have built up data of its mention in sikh history from its inception. So why should i discourage any debate on that.

On the other hand person in question does not know much about Dasam garnth sahib and what parameters are to be ascertained for authenticity of a scripture. All he does is call Hindus who have knowledge of dasam granth. A unilateral statement without providing any refrences. I even called him to have a look on 1698 manuscript in Northern california where i live.

So it is not right to call me an opponent of dasam granth debate.

Give me the reference here. Not a general statement only. When confronted with facts you make an accusation statement.

I have no intention to dominate any of threads. That is not my purpose. But if there will be thrread where slander of our Gurus bani is done , i will participte in that thread as it hurts my feelings.

Antonia ji,

Guru Fateh.

Interesting observation to say the least. In my opinion, Inder Singh has peddled only one thing during many years I have watched him and that is solely Dasam Granth. His sole agenda is to make Dasam Granth equal to SGGS which is heresy or he may claim the second most important which is still heresy because there is ONLY ONE GURU of the Sikhs and that is SGGS.

I know, I will sound repetitve here but it is important to mention that no one knows in reality who wrote the Dasam Granth but we as Sikhs all know who our GURU is- SGGS.

So, to give importance to a book that no one knows for sure who wrote it and which contradicts Gurmat ideals given to us in SGGS, which has parts in it which are full of pornographic imagery and Hindu mythology which have nothing to do with Gurmat Ideals of SGGS, rather some are contrary to those ideals.

One can only draw the conclusion from this constant peddling of this book and ignoring the SGGS that this person has the agenda to introduce Hindutva in Sikhi as many have tried in the past.

Now i have had a chance to go back to the post which is the thread starter. Wakeupkhalsa ji or Jagookhalsa.com is a web site hosted by Professor Darshan Singh ji, former Jathedar, and the only Jathedar in recent times to resign voluntarily from his post as jathedar from Akaal Takht. He resigned as a matter of principle, choosing to re-locate to Canada where he is continuing to promote the study of Gurmat.

The web site is in Punjabi, however, without even knowing Punjabi, one can see that it is an organized base for videos, shabads, events and news, and other information connected to the panth, Sikhism and Sri Guru Granth Sahib.

There have been some discussions recently among leaders and moderators about having an all Punjabi section in the forum. This would serve a niche among current and future readers who are in the main interested in continuing their study of Sikhism and their pursuits of interest in Sikhism in the Punjabi language. There is no lack of material that could be included in such as section, and this web site would certainly fit the bill.

The title Wake up Khalsa ji suggests that some or most parts of the panth are asleep. Is that true? Are some or most of asleep? What are your views? Where are we sleeping on the job?

I am fully aware that responses to the questions and the take that readers have on Professor Darshan's web site will occupy many spots along a continuum on views related to Dasam Granth, Kala Afghana, or Professor Darshan himself. Could we plesse acknowledge that views will differ. Let's not take the maxim of Gautama Buddha - People with strong opinions exist to bother one another - to heart. Rise above it!

Some of the membership are anxious for information coming from many sides of the debate swriling around the professor so that viewpoints can be compared and evaluated in a climate that is not riddled with charges of apostasy.

Inder Ji,

ALL of them..EVERY SINGLE ONE failed to ANSWER questions set to them on SGGS .
I can see why the REPEATED requests to ANSWER according to GURBANI/SGGS can seem to look like "bullying" when there is NO Knowledge, no answers and...NOTHING logical left...so its ...You Bully..you..Ghussun maru..daadn torr duun..vekh lun..etc etc surfaces.

IF they did answer..you are free to copy and paste them here !!
Uttar Deejeh Ros na Keejeh is GURBANI. its natural to get ROS..when the Uttars are beyond REACH.:whisling::whisling::whisling::whisling::whisling:
