Amazing. Born in the British Home for Mothers and Babies on Samuel Street in Woolwich, South East London. Currently living in Greater London, Essex. Not as glamorous sounding as your locations at all. I am one of the modern displaced people, yet the heart and soul longs for the green green pastures of the Motherland, She who sits in the shade of the Himalaya flanked by the five devout nations. The Himalaya itself now being populated despite stict immigration quotients by flocks of people with a desire to reside upon the mountain, mindful of God and his rock/man poiting at one another in a famous painting on the Sistene ceilinga tale within itself ...

I was conceived in the UK, but born in the land of 5 rivers (mother visited parents when pregnant), then came back to UK.

This particular body was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada amidst the separatists and very, very few Sikhs. A long, long time ago, too, 1952.

Where am I from? Everywhere, anywhere, nowhere, maybe another universe entirely. (I have a theory about Sikhs, backed up only by my imagination.) Akaal Purakh! Ek Onkaar! Vaheguru!
