Mr seeker
sexuality is also an energy within us>>>don't matter if you a gender bender or straight>>>both energies can bring same destruction of person.

Kaam is one of the panjh dhoot>>> and it affect you same if you desire men or women or both.

you are not understanding that sikhi is about rising above all these downward energies.
all energies have to be transformed so that you can find your nijh gharr>>your true home

all energies used for desires>>material>worldly>manly>>taste>>> are to be transformed into the divine energy to find your way back.
The cards you dealt here are all about past and present karams>>>there is no imbalance or debt in universe and no one gets shorthand by Truth

for someone so enlightened, it does not appear to have had much effect on your understanding, you claim to have carried out many practices, that you have felt your kundalini rising, etc etc, yet you seem unable to grasp the difference between someone who is gay, and to use your words a 'gender bender'. I did not think gender was the issue here, he is not cross dressing, or yearning to change gender, he just wishes to have a normal gay relationship. This only goes to prove my point that all the meditation/spritual experiences in the world cannot help you learn common sense.

Oh by the way, a lot of 'gender benders' ( I am sure they are all hugely pleased to be addressed as such) are actually straight.

you are not understanding that sikhi is about rising above all these downward energies.

oh do tell how?

ah, so its his fault anyway, does that mean being gay is a punishment for his previous lives?

You tell me>>why are you being predjudice and labelling me enlightened because of my sikhi practice and insulting my lack of intelligence ??>>>Have I judged you on your sikhi or lack of sikhi practice ?
I am not that educated>>had enuff bullying and racism at all white boys school>>left with more lion strength and the eyes of the tiger instead>>>never known and neither do I know any gays>>never needed to differentiate between labels.
>>>the technicalities of whether his on the other bus or batting for the opposition don't matter>> point is that sexuality and kaam has to be left downstairs>>>did you not understand my message with best attempt at my poor English??

Harry=This only goes to prove my point that all the meditation/spritual experiences in the world cannot help you learn common sense.
What common sense?>>
does your avoidance of spiritual attempts grant you more common sense ???.
>>>am I the one judging or claiming???

HArry=ah, so its his fault anyway, does that mean being gay is a punishment for his previous lives?
Putting words into my mouth or claiming that I'm judging someone on karma ??
There is no punishment>>the kapra you wear now is from your karams of previous kapras<<<karmi avah kaprah nadi moh duar>>
If you refuse to understand karams>>>then why do you mock statements about it or about something you have no intention of learning>>>
>>if you dont' understand it>>then why even comment???
oh yes>>go and tell me the classic that there is no such thing>>> just that it has been spoken about for hundreds of centuries BC.
Gurbani tells us that This life is likened to a field in which our karma is the seed.
We harvest exactly what we sow; no less, no more. This infallible law of karma holds everyone responsible for what the person is or is going to be. Based on the total sum of past karma, some feel close to the Pure Being in this life and others feel separated. This is the Gurbani's law of karma.
It is a law of nature and how the universe continues in hukam

You are very welcome to show me where in gurbani it tells us that karma is some man-made creation??>>> I shall wait for your response and proof and then confidently challenge it

does anyone believe that Guru granth sahib is a LIVING Guru ?? or do they claim it is a book of poems.
Tejwant mentioned on other thread something about <<Nanak ji used myths of reincarnation for people of the day in poetry>>>>>
<What the hell does this mean>>>?? that the Living Guru is like a cd with poetry lay out and they added myths so that the rhyming words can be used???

He is simply saying that the <TRUTH> which is Gurbani is composed to give that poetic affect ???
Blasphemy>>blasphemy>>

I challenge anyone making these blasphemous remarks>> cuz they aint no Sikh of the guru in my eyes

in my opinion karma does not exist, however that is my opinion.

we all have our own understandings, and sorry if I have offended you, but I do not make a habit of using one liners to justify my understanding,

I note your reddy brown colour, could I just ask that you avoid anything that looks like an admin colour, thanks

i agree...Guru Ji wanted to kick all the nonsense out and concentrate on truths only...nothing but the truth. there's nothing there to confuse us..its plain truth

but people will always say they used it for poetry...or because those topics were part of that age...or whatever other nonsense...

it holds the truth and nothing but the truth...we must accept and adjust lives accordingly and experience the truth for ourselves...

i wish people would actually read Gurbani and contemplate it over and over...and test what it's saying. This forum used to be full of truth seekers sharing experiences....they've all left..its a sad state of affairs where the only regular posters are constantly mocking the concepts of gurbani and coming up with their own limited version of it.

they constantly make something that is so unlimited, so un-imaginable, so powerful, so intoxicating, so mesmerizing, so profound...into "its just an experience of being High like taking a drug" lol..

I also wish people would actually read Gurbani and contemplate it over and over...and test what it's saying. I I also think this forum used to be full of truth seekers sharing experiences....they've all left..its a sad state of affairs where the only regular posters are constantly mocking the concepts of gurbani and coming up with their own limited version of it.

they constantly make something that is so straightforward so pragmatic, so powerful, so unintoxicating, so grounding, so profound...into being High like taking a drug" lol.

funny thing is...

i don;t ever recall anyone saying it is 'like being high like taking a drug"

that's where your own judgements come into play...

most people just say....go experience it for yourself...and then make your personal judgement of it...whatever that it is..
