Sat Sri Akaal,

Wa He Gu Ru is a Mantra which nourishes four channels inside body if spelled properly, and can balance harmony

Immune System
Circulatory System
Digestive System
Nervous System

and with proper balance of harmony and e motion spine can tolerate more imbalance
e motion from outside and gives higher status to a person as a balanced personality.

Bowing Down is another exercise which if one does in space will appear as fool, but bowing down to Guru Granth Sahib Ji earns respect and worthiness.

Sat Sri Akaal,

In deep ocean of e motion, there is a ship named Wa He Gu Ru, if one rides on this ship, with devotion, GURU who has given this ship to sadh sangat, will balance e motion (positive and negative) and make cross the deep ocean of e motion.

WA He Gu RU Naam Jahaaz Hai,

Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa
Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh

Sat Sri Akaal,

One can not get taste of apple if others eat,
to realise the only way is self experience.

Waheguru Naam JAHAAZ hai..is NOT Gurbani/or from SGGS.

The real JAHAAZ stressed a million times in SGGS is "NAAM" 1429 pages aangas of SGGS stress NAAM and only NAAM...as the Jahaaz GURU ji made for us. As a Young boy I used to see a painting often printed on Guru ARJUN JIs Parkash/shaheedee purabs which hsowed a JAHAAZ - SHIP in an ocean full of suffering humanitya nd GURU JI picking up those who wnated to climb on to the SHIP... The NAAM (SGGS) IS THE JAHAAZ !!! and the POEM we used to sing was..SADDEH GURAAN NE JAHAAZ (SGGS) BANNIYAH...aayo jinnanh ne paar langhhnna...JI...The Beloved GURU has constructed the SHIP..Come...and be saved ferried across the ocean of Maya...

and just referencing LINGUISTICS...And Grammar.... a COMMA or PAUSE makes a great difference...

WAHEGURU , "NAAM" Jahaz hai..Jo charreh so uttreh Paar...
Means..OH Wondrous GURU, NAAM is the SHIP (You have provided) and whosoever CLIMBS aboard will be SAVED.

And WAHEGURU NAAM , Jahaz hai..is entirely Different meaning Jo charreh so uttreh paar.

Similar error of PAUSE is being made in Sabh te wadda satgur Nanak...the COMMA/PAUSE is after SATGUR...but many palce it after NANAK..and render it contradictory.

Sat Sri Akaal,

Human perceptions and senses have limitation of physical sense, vision, listen. touch, taste.

Word has nothing as such which can be revealed,

its like iron can be seen in solid state, molten state, gaseous state, further as light radiation
and next level how to get it experienced which has no form, is not possible.

Words are formation of breath

As an exercise, feel the breath inside body, while reciting

Wa

He

Gu

Ru

One take's breath there, and further breath takes one somewhere inside body.

though its difficult and takes full devotion to realize pathways of breath inside body,
but still one can try.

Further as stated by it will not cure disease,

but balances harmony, chemical secretions.

for eg

in difficult fear situations, body release adernaline, over dose may lead to heart failure,
but if fear program is not operated by mind, production of adernaline will be in control.

though it never comes when one is enjoying luxury
but surely automatically comes to recitation when earth shakes or sea moves or facing hardship

OH GOD BLESS MIND GURBAT TO ATTAIN GURMAT

To recite NAAM to realize breath moments inside body is difficult.

Enjoy balance and bliss

Sat Sri Akaal,

Jarnail Singh Ji, thanks for correction,
I have never read Granth Sahib Ji, just few lines in a day/week/month or year
are taken, but with SPN its fast learning,

and I am poor in writting.

When it comes to mind,
I get everything from "Guru Granth Sahib Ji,

Thanks a lot for corrections, as it may lead to erroneous reading.

Hope one can get the essence.

Ravneet Ji,
SPN is for ALL of us to learn and relate to...not "correcting"..just adding to the collective information/knowledge base...the experience of Guru/Amrit/Naam is BEYOND WORDS...as even Guru ji has written..Jaisseh GUNGEH mathiyaaee khaee...How can a MUTE person describe the sweetness /taste of mathiyaee he ate..we are ALL MUTES when it comes to Naam/Gurbani ...but we all try our level best to let others IN....so continue please....to SHARE....Regards

@ravneet_sb Ji,
Yeah, but I suppose you have eaten the apple. Why not share the experiences with us? What good has it done to you and how?

We are all individuals and one apple may taste better or worse to the other person.
If reciting 'waheguru' with full dhian can take away your headache and feeling of misery, then good for you and well done !
It's always better than popping a pill !!!

I am well aware that simran and meditation can help people deal with physical symptoms of pain, although this is more to do with diverting the focus away from the pain and not the magic of a gurmantar.
Because if it was just the magic of the gurmantar, then that would work without any involvement of focus !

Gyani Jarnail Singh is right it is an adjective not noun.
Ravneet claim it is a Mantra to be recited. With reciting 4 organd can work in harmony. It is also a ship if we recite it we can go across the sea.(heaven)

Nanak also said told his followers to do the simran (recite) of NAAM,Shabad, Mantar.
But Nanak for got to tell us what is that Mantar or naam is and how to recite,(simran)

None of the guru told us to recite Waheguru. I know it is in SGGS in BHAT’s bani. If you read that properly you can now why the BHAT recited the Waheguru word. It is not a Mantar or Shabad or Naam.

I have never read Granth Sahib Ji
So, ravneet_sb Ji,
Don't you think you should be spending more time on strengthening your scriptural understanding than prescribing the 'Wa he gu ru air meditation' stuff?
Sorry, I'm no one to judge you, but you see stating such things can lead to harmful spiritual consequences. Someone somewhere reading this thread may take home a wrong message.
Gurbani is far beyond breathing exercises, it means a daily exercise of good character and virtues.
Sorry if I may sound harsh.....

3HO people say almost the same thing. And we all believe it is not the pure and pristine form of Sikhi. What basis do we have to criticise them if we practise the same 'healing meditations'?
Reading an old poem may make you feel good, watching a childhood movie may cause a strong gush of positive emotions and make you feel good....there is no rocket science in that.....
But, you know, we are not authorised enough to invent breathing exercises out of Gurbani...
Apologies for sounding harsh again....

It seems meaning of 'simar', simrana', 'dhiayana, japna or japo on the base of gurbani, has not been properly understood by us and as such this confusion. The sole purpose of our life is, 'ਯਾ ਜੁਗ ਮਹਿ ਏਕਹਿ ਕਉ ਆਇਆ ॥ no discrimination, no exploitation, and that understanding can only come once we contemplate on the gur-sabds. We cannot achieve this understanding simply by repeating a single word.

Let us contemplate on, 'ਨਿਕਸੁ ਰੇ ਪੰਖੀ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਂਖ ॥'. Can a bird fly by repeating 'pankh pankh' no what guru sahib is trying to say bring your wings in action and fly. Similarly we can only cross this bhavjal, 'ਜੇ ਗੁਣ ਹੋਵਨ੍ਹ੍ਹਿ ਸਾਜਨਾ ਮਿਲਿ ਸਾਝ ਕਰੀਜੈ ॥ by bringing our mind enlightened with divine wisdom and not otherwise.

Similarly 'dhiayana' and japo means to pay attention but we are interpretating it as meditation.

best regards
sahni

Seeker Ji,
Guru Nanak Sahib didn't 'forget' anything. I wonder from where did you get this funny idea.
Guru Nanak's path is one of liberation, his teachings aren't pedantic or over-the-head, nor did he prescribe a single word to be repeated over and over again. 'Simran' is definitely a holistic and liberating concept, it means spiritually merging with the creator...
Guru Nanak Sahib's bani is replete with the holistic meanings of Naam and Simran, Yoga and many other terms of Ancient spiritual schools which were completely redefined by this great man,a couple of examples from the Siddh Gosht,

ਨਾਨਕੁਬੋਲੈਗੁਰਮੁਖਿਬੂਝੈਜੋਗਜੁਗਤਿਇਵਪਾਈਐ॥੯॥ Naanak Bolai Guramukh Boojhai Jog Jugath Eiv Paaeeai ||9||
Nanak speaks: the Gurmukh tries to understand the shackles of their mind; this is the way that Yoga is attained. ||9||

ਰਹਹਿਇਕਾਂਤਿਏਕੋਮਨਿਵਸਿਆਆਸਾਮਾਹਿਨਿਰਾਸੋ॥ Rehehi Eikaanth Eaeko Man Vasiaa Aasaa Maahi Niraaso ||
One who feels disappointed with worldly hopes, the one whose mind stays connected with Waheguru (being in the world are still not affected by the world) are true hermits.

Due to the sheer novelty of his spiritual thoughts, Guru Maharaj's bani may seen challenging at times, but, the more you read and reflect on it, the more you'll be able to understand it.

No one said anything about inventing or manipulating gurbani here.
It's incorporating gurbani into your breathing !
What is wrong with that ???

Maybe you should try it ???

Asking questions is not a problem here, even very direct questions which may be taken as rude. These are often not intended to be rude.

Sometimes we don't like the questions and take them personally. Sometimes we wish they were worded more diplomatically.

Such questions are not attacks on personalities even if we find them unpleasant.

It is important to focus on issues not on personalities per our TOS.
