Sri as an adjective is always written before the noun as in ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰਦੇਵਏ ਨਮਹ ॥੧॥.
So in Sat Sri Akal one would think Sri is written before the noun Akal. But Akal isn't a noun, it is an adjective.

Sat is a noun. So it could have easily been Sri Sat Akal. But Sat is not a person. It's a thing. Satchitananda is never referred to as Sri Satchitananda, unless it's a person's name. "Sat could be a person." In Guru Granth Sahib, Sri never comes after a name, always comes before, as seen in above example.

EDIT: To sum up, Sri is always written before a name of a person but neither Sat or Akal are names.
Bhagat Singh Ji

Sri as an adjective is always written before the noun ,

Any Adjective word can be used as prefix or suffix with Noun Word

Like as GuR POORAA
or
as POORAA GuR

Here the word POORAA is Adjective for Noun GUR

Both forms are there in SGGS

Paraksh Ji..Gur Poora and poora Gur would also be due to POETRY limitations/rules...Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is in Poetry and IF Poora rhymes..then its Gur Poora !! and other way around if Gur Rhymes..

Just a thought

May be ,but the question is related to the use of Adjective as prefix or suffix with Noun Word.
Such application of Adjective does not change the meaning of the
Noun Word.
There are several combinations visible thru out Gurbanee.

Is Sat Sri Akal poetry?

If Sri here is an adjective, it is the kind that always goes before the name, and it only goes in front of a name like Sardar or Mister. Sri Guru Nanak, Sri Ram, etc. Guru is another example. Guru Nanak not Nanak Guru, the latter is grammatically incorrect.

Are there any real world example of Sri being used after a word?

Gyani ji,
I forgot about real world examples of Sri being used after a name like Pita Sri, Mata Sri. They just came to me.

Thats OK Bhagat Ji....

There are two interpretations on this Tuk...

1. Visraam is at Dev...and the Tuk means the "GURU" that Arjun Dev Japped - that would be Guru Nanak Ji/Akal Purakh...(Har). The Tuk points us all in the direction of Guru nanak/Akal Purakh as the center point of our "Japping".
2. That Visraam is at Guru,....That the word Guru refers to Arjun Dev Himself and is part of His Name...and the Tuk means those who JAPP "Guru Arjun Dev the Guru" will not be reborn.
